From Protector to Leader.
From Knowing to Doing.
A 7-day neuroscience-based leadership programme for senior leaders and high-potential teams. Built on 5,218 assessments across 42 countries. The only programme that addresses the biological root of why leaders stall — not just the behaviour on top of it.
THE LEADERSHIP JOURNEY
Seven days. One complete arc.
Each day builds on the last. The programme follows the arc: Who am I → What stops me → How I lead others → How I get results → How I handle what gets in the way → Who I become → What I sustain.

PRE - DAY
BEFORE THE PROGRAMME
STARTS
Introduction & 3 Brains Assessment
Everyone arrives knowing their own biology
📚 Source: 3 Brains Dominance Test · NOC Leadership Programme Masterclass format
Before Day 1, every participant completes the 3 Brains Dominance Test and receives their individual profile. A 3-hour online masterclass introduces the 3 Brains framework so that Day 1 can go straight into depth — no time wasted on basics. Participants also complete a short pre-reflection on their current leadership challenge.
ONLINE
3 Brains Dominance Test — individual assessment
Each participant receives their Head, Heart, and Gut scores with an individual written debrief. Results are confidential and brought to Day 1.
3 HRS
Online Masterclass — Introduction to 3 Brains Intelligence
The neuroscience of Head, Heart, and Gut. Why each brain thinks, feels, and reacts differently under pressure. Why alignment is not a soft skill — it is a biological necessity.
INDIVIDUAL
Pre-reflection: The leader I am — and the one I want to be
A short written reflection on current leadership strengths, recurring challenges, and the specific situation the participant wants to shift during the programme.

DAY ONE
I DEVELOP MYSELF
I Know My Three Brains
From the leader I am — to the leader I want to be
📚 Source: NOC Qatar Programme Pillar 1 Day 1 · MIMM Sessions 1–2 IE Business School · 3 Brains Certification
The foundation of everything. Before a leader can align their team, they need to understand their own dominant pattern — where they are strong, where they stall, and which brain is in the driving seat under pressure. This day links individual biology to organisational impact.
MORNING
My 3 Brains Profile — group debrief
Participants share and discuss their Dominance Test results in a structured group format. Patterns across the team are mapped. Head-dominant, Heart-dominant, and Gut-dominant leaders understand how their profile affects their decisions and their people.
MID-MORNING
The leader I am — multicultural leadership and individual differences
How different brain dominances show up across cultures — directly relevant for leaders working across Europe and Latin America. Group workshop on the advantages and challenges of multicultural leadership teams.
AFTERNOON
Individual Impact Plan — the leader I want to be
Each participant begins building their Individual Impact Plan — a personal leadership development map that will evolve across all 5 days. Based on their 3 Brains profile, their NOC-style leadership model, and their pre-reflection.
CLOSE
Growth mindset and continuous learning
The importance of staying a learner as you rise. Participants identify one specific area of their leadership that this programme will develop — and write it into their Impact Plan.

DAY TWO
I UNDERSTAND WHAT STOPS ME
The 12 Inner Protectors
Why you repeat patterns you know don't serve you
📚 Source: 3 Brains 12 Protectors Manual · 3 Brains Coach Certification · MIMM Sessions 3–4
Every leader has biological patterns that protected them earlier in life — and now run on autopilot in the boardroom. The Analyst who delays every decision. The Controller who can't delegate. The Peacekeeper who avoids conflict at the cost of results. This day names them, maps them, and gives leaders the tools to lead from alignment rather than from fear.
MORNING
The 12 Inner Protectors — introduction in leadership language
Head Protectors: The Analyst, Perfectionist, Order Keeper, Observer. Heart Protectors: The Pleaser, Peacekeeper, Approval-Seeker, Caretaker. Gut Protectors: The Controller, Endurer, Rebel, Performer. Each one has a leadership shadow — and a hidden gift.
MID-MORNING
My dominant Protector — individual mapping
Each participant identifies their primary Protector pattern and traces it to a specific leadership behaviour. What triggers it? What does it cost them? What is the hidden gift they can reclaim from it?
AFTERNOON
Protectors in leadership context — role plays and case analysis
Real leadership scenarios — a difficult team member, a stalling decision, a conflict avoided for too long. Participants identify which Protector is running the situation and practice responding from alignment instead.
CLOSE
From Protector to Leader — the integration intention
Each participant writes one specific intention: in which leadership situation will they choose alignment over protection this week?

DAY THREE
I BUILD HIGH-PERFORMING TEAMS
From Self-Awareness to Team Dynamics
Reading which brain is speaking — and responding to the right one
📚 Source: NOC Qatar Pillar 2 Days 1–2 · MIMM Sessions 5–8 · Krauthammer HCD Model
A leader who knows their own three brains can now read their team's. The five dysfunctions of a team — absence of trust, fear of conflict, lack of commitment, avoidance of accountability, inattention to results — each map directly to a brain. This day gives leaders the language, tools, and practice to shift team dynamics at the biological root.
MORNING
The Five Dysfunctions of Teams through a 3 Brains lens
Trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, results — each linked to a brain. When trust is absent, the Heart is in protection mode. When commitment is missing, the Head hasn't been convinced. When results are ignored, the Gut has given up. The team pattern map: aggregate 3 Brains results across the full group.
MID-MORNING
Decision-making styles — Command, Consult, Vote, Consensus
When does each style serve — and when does it block? The autocratic vs participative paradox: Head-dominant leaders default to top-down; Heart-dominant leaders default to consensus. Both can stall execution. The 3 Brains decision framework: which brain do you need to engage — and in what sequence?
AFTERNOON
Delegation and feedback — the two things most leaders avoid
Why leaders who can't delegate have a Gut Controller running the show. Delegation role plays. The GROW Coaching Model for performance conversations. How to give feedback that reaches the Heart without losing the Head — and that mobilises the Gut to act.
CLOSE
Lead a team meeting — live practice
Each participant leads a 15-minute team meeting using the 3 Brains framework. Group debrief: which brain was being addressed? Which was being ignored? What shifted?

DAY FOUR
I DRIVE RESULTS THROUGH ALIGNMENT
Execution, Communication, and Courageous Conversations
If you don't know which brain is speaking, you argue with the wrong argument
📚 Source: NOC Qatar Pillar 3 · Krauthammer Conflict & Sales Modules · MIMM Sessions 9–14
Strategy without alignment is just a plan on paper. This day addresses the gap between what leaders say and what their biology signals — and gives practical tools for getting buy-in, handling conflict, managing energy, and building resilience under pressure. The hardest leadership skills are not intellectual. They are biological.
MORNING
Getting buy-in — speaking to all three brains
"If you don't know which brain is speaking, you argue with the wrong argument." The 3 Brains communication map: how to present a decision so the Head understands, the Heart connects, and the Gut commits. Applied to real cases from participants' own organisations.
MID-MORNING
Courageous conversations — the Krauthammer conflict framework
Acknowledgement → Yes to the situation → Yes to commitment → Review of powers → What do you propose? → Concrete objectives. Why most leaders skip steps 1 and 2 and go straight to solutions — and why that never works. Role plays with real leadership conflicts.
AFTERNOON
Energy management and resilience under pressure
Important vs urgent — the Eisenhower Matrix through a 3 Brains lens. How each brain responds to setbacks. Building the Gut's capacity to recover. Why high-Gut leaders push through everything — and why that eventually breaks. Activity planning as a leadership discipline.
CLOSE
Organisational culture as biological change
Culture change is not a policy problem — it is a biological one. How to embed new behaviours at the level of instinct, emotion, and reasoning. The Board as the catalyst for cultural transformation.
🔑 Key Tool
3 Brains Communication Map · Conflict resolution framework (Krauthammer adapted) · Energy and resilience plan

DAY FIVE
I SHAPE THE FUTURE
The Leader I Commit to Becoming
When a Protector is in charge, you're protecting. When your 3 Brains are aligned, you're leading.
📚 Source: NOC Qatar Pillar 4 · 3 Brains Master Coach Training Days 4–5 · Krauthammer Letter to Myself · MIMM Sessions 15–18
The final day brings everything together into a personal commitment and a practical 90-day plan. Leaders do not leave with a folder of models. They leave with a map of their own biology, a clear picture of what has been holding them back, and a concrete plan for the next 90 days — with a structure to hold them accountable.
MORNING
Cross-team collaboration and innovation
How to create shared goals when teams have different dominant brains. Succession planning through a 3 Brains lens: what does this leadership role actually require biologically — and who is ready for it? Proactivity for business performance improvement.
MID-MORNING
The CCT State — Calm, Connected, Trusting
Introduced as a leadership practice, not a coaching technique. The physiological state that allows all three brains to function at their best. How to access it under pressure. How to help your team access it during high-stakes moments.
AFTERNOON
Individual Impact Plan — final version and 90-day commitment
Each participant finalises their Individual Impact Plan: three specific behavioural commitments for the next 90 days, mapped to their 3 Brains profile and their dominant Protector. Peer accountability pairs are formed — two leaders who will check in with each other across the integration period.
CLOSE
Letter to Myself — and programme closing
A Krauthammer tradition adapted for 3 Brains: each leader writes a personal letter to themselves — the leader they were on Day 1, and the leader they are committing to become. Letters are sealed and mailed back to participants 60 days after the programme ends.
🔑 Key Tool
Individual Impact Plan (final) · 90-Day Leadership Alignment Plan · Peer accountability structure · Letter to Myself

INTEGRATION DAY
30-60 DAYS AFTER DAAY 5
What Changed — and What Came Back
The day that makes the difference between training and transformation
📚 Source: Krauthammer Report-Back model · 3 Brains Master Coach certification integration structure
This is the day that separates this programme from every other leadership training. Thirty to sixty days after Day 5, the group reconvenes for a full integration day. Participants report back on their 90-day commitments — what shifted, what patterns came back, what they discovered about themselves in real conditions. Peer accountability pairs present to the group. Individual coaching conversations are available as add-on.
MORNING
Report-back — what I implemented and what happened
Each participant gives a 5-minute presentation on their 90-day plan: which commitments they kept, what results they saw, where they fell back into their Protector, and what they learned. Structured peer feedback using the 3 Brains framework.
AFTERNOON
Accountability debrief and next-phase planning
Group reflection on team patterns that shifted — and those that didn't. Individual next-phase commitments. Optional: each participant receives a letter they wrote to themselves on Day 5. Optional follow-on: individual executive coaching contract with Christoffel.
🔑 Key Tool
Report-back framework · 90-day review template · Individual coaching follow-on (optional)
PROGRAMME OUTCOMES
What every participant leaves with

Their 3 Brains profile
A clear map of their dominant brain, their secondary brain, and the patterns that activate under pressure — with a leadership language to describe it.

Their team's brain pattern
An aggregate map of their team's dominant brains — showing where communication breaks down, where decisions stall, and where alignment is possible.

Individual Impact Plan — 90-day commitments
Three specific, measurable behavioural commitments for the next 90 days, grounded in their biology and held accountable by a peer partner from the programme.

Their dominant Protector — named and mapped
The specific biological pattern that is limiting their leadership, its trigger, its cost, and the hidden gift available when they work with it instead of against it.

A shared language across the team
When the whole team knows the 3 Brains framework, conversations change. Conflict becomes navigable. Feedback lands. Decisions move.

The CCT State — a daily leadership practice
The physiological capacity to access Calm, Connected, Trusting under pressure — and to help their team access it during high-stakes moments.

A NOTE ON CUSTOMISATION
Every organisation is different. The 7-day structure above is the full programme — but we also offer a 5-day version (without the Pre-Day masterclass and Integration Day) for organisations with tighter schedules.
The programme can be adapted to your organisational context, your leadership model, and your specific business challenges. We have delivered this work in the context of mergers, generational transitions in family businesses, cultural change processes, and high-potential leadership development.
Every engagement starts with a discovery conversation — not a proposal. We want to understand your organisation before we recommend anything.
WHAT LEADERS SAY
From the people who have done this work
"3 Brains Intelligence explains why leaders fail to get buy-in and gives us the techniques to do it. If you don't know which brain is speaking, you argue with the wrong argument — and you can't sell your idea. The 3 Brains theory simplifies everything. In just two questions, you know exactly what is happening and you become far more precise and effective."
François Bazini
CMO, Suntory Beverage & Food Europe
"Identifying core issues is unearthed more expediently when the Head, Heart, and Gut discussion is infused. An unexpected benefit was that it helped me better understand my own patterns. I would highly recommend this work to any leadership team."
Ted Hawkins
Executive Coach — ex-partner PricewaterhouseCoopers
"Few have delved as effectively into the core of why clients get stuck, or offered solutions as impactful as 3 Brains Intelligence. Clients effortlessly break free from limitations and experience benefits that actually stick — because it finally aligns the Head, Heart, and Gut."
Karen Keller, Ph.D., MCC
CEO/Founder, Keller Institute™ — 20+ years as MCC

WHO DELIVERS THIS PROGRAMME
Christoffel Sneijders, MCC
I spent a decade at Krauthammer International — one of Europe's leading behavioural training and consulting firms — as a senior partner and consultant, leading international change projects in strategy and organisational culture across the Netherlands and beyond.
I then built this framework from the inside out — after experiencing burnout, rebuilding from scratch in two countries, and completing open heart surgery in 2024. Every part of the 3 Brains methodology is lived experience, not borrowed theory.
"The best leaders are not better thinkers. They are more aligned. Their Head, Heart, and Gut work together — especially when information is incomplete and decisions are urgent. That alignment can be built."
I teach Organisational Behaviour and Leadership at IE Business School in Madrid and Georgetown University in Qatar. I have worked with more than 13,000 people across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, Asia, and Australia.
